The Matchplay Championship, now entering its ninth year is considered to be one of Europe’s biggest and best amateur golf tournament. Due to the phenomenal success of the event the organisers have:
- Increased the places available for Grand Finalists from 36 to 40.
- Increased the number of events from 3 to 4 – NEW Men’s Singles event
- Allowed players to enter multiple events.
For the second year running we are delighted to confirm the magnificent Dubai Marriott Harbour Hotel will play host to the 2011/12 Grand Finalists. The Matchplay Championship event once again will be staged on the fairways of the world famous Els Club, Dubai – the first golf course in the Middle East designed by Ernie Els, winner of a record seven World Matchplay titles.
Entry for all events is just £25 per person (£50 for a pair). So ENTER NOW to be in with a chance of booking your seat to the Grand Final in Dubai May 2012.
As with previous events we can confirm that the Sky Sports cameras will be joining the Grand Finalists in Dubai to film all the action from the 3-days of competition as well as both UK Regional Finals.

The Grand Final itinerary is simply wonderful. It includes:
